Author Guidlines

Dear authors of "accepted papers":

Congratulations! You have been notified that your paper has been accepted for publication by the IEEE in the proceedings of the 5th Asia Symposium on Quality Electronic Design (ASQED 2015) to be held 4-5 Aug. 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Please click here for the list of accepted papers. Note this is a preliminary program. Plan to attend the conference on both Aug.4 and Aug. 5 just in case your paper is moved around. Make your travel arrangements as early as possible to benefit from typically lower prices.

To submit the final paper via START system please click here.

As a requirement for publication of your paper in the Proceedings of the 2015 ASQED Conference, at least one of the authors of your paper must complete the Author registration and pay the required fee of $495. If you have not registered by July 3, 2015, your paper will not be included in the Conference Technical Program and the Conference Proceedings. If an author has more than one paper then each registration can cover for at most 2 papers only. So for example if an author has 3 papers, then he/she must register twice.
Registration additionally grants permission to attend both days of the conference including keynote speeches, tutorials, technical presentations and covers 2 days of lunch and refreshments. For any questions regarding author registration contact authors @ asqed. com

Please click here to register.

Your final, publication ready manuscript is due on July 3, 2015. You must submit the final version of your paper as well as the IEEE copyright form to START system. Please follow the procedure in the acceptace email sent to you and use your passcodes to login to the ASQED 2015 START site, and submit the final materials. Please contact the START adminstration if you run into any problem with your submission. For any further information please contact Paul Wesling, Publications Chair, by email at p.wesling @ ieee.org, or phone (+1-408-331-0114).

Instructions for preparing your paper are embedded in the WORD Template and the Format Sheet (or in the LaTeX zipped file if your prefer). Please download and print them, for reference.

Page Limits:

Since ASQED is going paperless and the proceedings is going to be published only on CD-ROM, the page limit from previous years has been removed. However, recommended length of papers is minimum 4 (four) pages, and maximum 10 (ten) pages, including all figures, tables, and references. We recommend using MS Word to write the final version of your paper. The new WORD Template allows more information to be placed on each page, so we expect most papers to be from 4 to 8 pages.

Extra pages over 10 and up to a maximum total of 10 pages will be charged at $200/page. So for example an author of a paper with 11 pages total will pay a $200 USD fee, and a paper with a total of 12 pages would cost $400 extra (2 pages * $200/page). Papers over 10 pages in length may result in a request to rewrite/condense the paper.

Payment for extra pages should be received by ISQED prior to July 19th, 2013. Payment should be made (in US dollars) to the ISQED. If you are registering for the conference with credit card, you can request ISQED to charge your credit card for extra pages as well. Otherwise if you are paying by check please send the payment to the following address:

ISQED
PO Box 607
Los Altos, CA 94023 USA
